(a) the policy guidelines being followed for recruitment in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Central Police Organisations (CPOs);
(b) whether there is any concession for recruitment of people from hilly regions, less densely populated areas where there has been a large proportion of ex-servicemen, serving men and young population willing to join forces and persons engaged in traditional occupation, in the forces; and
(c) if so, the details thereof?

(a): Recruitments in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles (AR) are conducted as per notified relevant Recruitment Rules/schemes.
(b) & (c): 10% of the vacancies in Group A,B & C in CAPFs and AR are reserved for Ex-servicemen apart from reservation as applicable under the relevant Rules to SC/ST/OBC candidates. Concessions in height and chest to the candidates from some specified states/areas/regions/ category are also provided as per the provisions in the respective Recruitment Rules/schemes.
