(a) whether the Government have received any complaints of corruption, irregularities and misappropriation in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR) Port Blair in A&N Islands;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government have conducted any inquiries;
(d) if so, the outcome thereof; and
(e) the action taken/proposed to be taken against those found guilty in this regard?

(a) & (b) The complaints in respect of purchase of equipments and financial
irregularities at Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI), Port
Blair were received in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research since
1998.
(c) & (d) The complaint in respect of purchase of equipments were
investigated. NO procedural lapse was found.
(e) Does not arise.
