a) the quantum of funds released under National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM) in the last two years, State wise;
b) the quantum of funds utilised from the NULM budget specifically for NULM Shelter for Urban Homeless (SUH) including details of funds spent on constructing shelters, shelter repairs and maintenance, State-wise; and
c) the details and the number of shelters constructed in Telangana?
(a) & (b) Under Deendayal Antodaya Yojana - National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM), funds are released to States/ UTs in a consolidated manner, out of which appropriate amount is apportioned by States/ UTs for various components of the Mission, including Shelter for Urban Homeless (SUH), as per their requirement. A statement showing state-wise details of funds released by Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs and utilized by States/ UTs, including Telangana, during 2018-19 to 2019-20 under the Mission is at Annexure-I.
(c) So far, 34 shelters have been made functional in Telangana, with a capacity of 2,813 persons, under the Mission.
