(a) whether the CBSE held its examination for 10th and 12th
classes at its centres located in Kuwait and other gulf countries
despite US War on Iraq.
(b) if so, the reasons for holding examination in such
countries; and
(c) the details of the centres where such exams were conducted
and the measures taken by the Government for the safety of the
examinees during these exams?

(a): Yes, Sir.
(b): The examination centres for the Central Board of Secondary
Education (CBSE) affiliated schools in Kuwait and other gulf
countries were fixed locally in order to avoid inconvenience to
the students.
(c): The details of examination centres in Kuwait and in other
gulf countries are given in Annexure. The Government of Kuwait
and other gulf countries provided all necessary support for the
smooth conduct of CBSE’s examination in Kuwait.
