(a) whether Government have made any State-wise review on the implementation of Prime Minister`s Rozgar Yojana;

(b) if so, the State-wise performance during the last three years;

(c) the relaxation given to SC/ST and physically handicapped under that schemes; and

(a): Yes, Sir. Regular State-wise review of the implementation of the Prime Minister`s Rozgar Yojana (PMRY) is being done.

(b): Based on the Reserve Bank of India reports, the State-wise performance during the last three years i.e. 1998-1999, 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 under the Prime Minister`s Rozgar Yojana (PMRY) is at Annexure-I.

(c) & (d): Under the PMRY, the upper age limit for eligibility of 35 years has been relaxed by 10 years to 45 years for applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) categories. The Scheme also provides for a 22.5 percent reservation for SC/ST applicants.
