(a) whether the Central Government has asked the Delhi Government to take charge of Delhi Milk Scheme;
(b) if so, the reaction of Delhi Government in this regard;
(c) the actual losses being incurred by DMS, Year-wise;
(d) the steps taken to increase the efficiency of D.M.S.?

(b): The Government of NCT of Delhi has not yet intimated its decision in this regard.
(c): Accumulated losses of DMS upto 31.3.2001 was Rs.569 crores (provisional). The deficit for the last three years is as follows:-
1998-1999 57.72 crores 1999-2000 55.68 crores 2000-2001 7.80 crores
