(a) whether the Government of India is putting some kind of diplomatic pressure on Myanmar to restore
democracy there;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether India alongwith USA is also urging the Myanmar Government to release Aung San Suu Kyi from
detention; and
(d) if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (d) We have emphasized to the Government of Myanmar that the process of national reconciliation and
political reform initiated by the Government of Myanmar should be taken forward expeditiously. We have reiterated
that it should be inclusive and broad-based, including Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and the various ethnic groups. India
will continue to play a constructive role in working towards this end.
