Question : National Industrial Corridor Programme

(a) the list of industrial corridor projects being developed under National Industrial Corridor Programme in the country along with the status of these industrial corridors;

(b) whether any industrial corridor has been planned for the state of Haryana;

(c) if so, the details thereof; and

(d) the list of Multi Model Logistic Hub proposed/ under construction on these industrial corridors?

(a): Government of India has accorded approval for development of 11 corridors (32 projects) in four Phases as part of National Master Plan for providing multimodal connectivity to economic zones which are under various stages of conceptualization / development / implementation. The list of projects in the respective states along with status of implementation is at Annexure.

(b) & (c): Following two Industrial Corridors are covering the State of Haryana:

i. Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC)
ii. Amritsar Kolkata Industrial Corridor (AKIC)

Under DMIC, development work for Integrated Multimodal Logistics Hub (IMLH) Project at Nangal Chaudhary (886 acres) has been initiated. Master plan has been prepared and environmental clearance has been obtained for the project. Implementation works related to External Connectivity are in tendering stage. Under AKIC, State Government has confirmed 1,500 acres for development of Integrated Manufacturing Cluster(IMC) at Hisar. Development work has been initiated and consultants for master planning and preliminary engineering have been appointed.


(d): Under National Industrial Corridor Programme, in addition to the above, development work for a Multi Modal Logistic Hub (MMLH) at Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh (334 Ha) under DMIC has been initiated.
