(a) whether it is true that the 15th Finance Commission has identified Hyderabad as one
of the urban agglomerations for performance-based grants to improve air quality; and
(b) if so, the details of amount so far sanctioned, released and spent on Hyderabad urban agglomeration?

(a)& (b) Hyderabad Urban Agglomeration has been identified as one of the 42 Million Plus Cities/ Urban Agglomerations for providing performance-based financial grant under Million Plus Cities Challenge Fund (MPCCF) by 15th Finance Commission (XV-FC) to improve air quality.
Hyderabad Urban Agglomeration was sanctioned as well as released Rs. 352 crore for FY 2020-21 and FY 2021-22.
