(a) the details of amount waived off along with the number of farmers
benefited from Farm Debt Waiver Scheme across the country during the
last three years, State and year-wise;
(b) whether the Government has received any audit reports regarding serious
flaws in the implementation of the said scheme; and
(c) if so, the details thereof and the action taken by the Government thereon?

(a): The State wise details of implementation of the Agricultural Debt Waiver and Debt
Relief Scheme (ADWDRS), 2008 in respect of Regional Rural Banks and Cooperative Banks are
given in Annex-I. The bank wise details in respect of Public Sector Banks, Private Sector
Banks and Local Area Banks are given in Annex-II. Under the Scheme 3.73 crore farmers have
been benefited to the extent of Rs. 52,259.86 crore.
(b) & (c): The Report on performance Audit of ADWDRS, 2008 by the C&AG has so far not
been submitted.
