(a) the details of schemes and activities of Indo-Russia Joint Council (ILTP) in the country;

(b) whether permission has been provided to Indian Scientists for conducting research work in Russian Laboratories; and

(a) Integrated Long Term Programme of Cooperation in Science and Technology between the Republic of India and Russian Federation (ILTP) was concluded on 3rd October 2000 in New Delhi. The agreement provides for establishment of the Indo-Russian Joint Council for ILTP which would be the apex body at bilateral level and would steer the programme. The Joint Council would identify areas of bilateral cooperation, develop/approve joint projects, joint ventures, technology transfer etc. and determine financial terms for their realization.

(b) The agreement inter-alia provides for conduct of research in Russian laboratories under jointly identified projects.

(c) Does not arise.
