(a) whether the Government plans to extend the number of themes under theme based tourist circuits, like cuisine tourism, wellness tourism similar to that done by Andhra Pradesh in their State Tourism Policy 2020-25; and
(b) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): Development of tourism is primarily the responsibility of the concerned State Government/ UT Administration. However, the Ministry of Tourism under its scheme of Swadesh Darshan has already identified 15 themes.
As of now, there is no proposal to extend the number of themes under Swadesh Darshan scheme.
