(a) the State-wise details of archeological survey being conducted by the Government in the country;
(b) whether the Government has formulated any scheme to get the archeological survey of ancient temples, some ancient historical forts and a number of ancient minarets situated in various States of the Country;
(c) if so, the details of archeological survey being conducted in Sitapur and Lakhimpur districts of Uttar Pradesh; and
(d) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) & (b) Archaeological Survey of India conducts archaeological survey in the country. The details of the village to village survey conducted are at Annexure. The survey of ancient temples is conducted through Temple Survey Projects.
(c) & (d) Archaeological survey and documentation conducted in district Sitapur of Uttar Pradesh in 2019 included Ancient temples of Naimishsaranya and surrounding areas of Chakra Tirth complex, Ancient temple of Lalita Devi, Hanuman Gadhi, Vyas gaddi, Area on the bank of Gomati river, Maharishi Dadhichi birth place, Dadhichi temple complex and pond.
