(a)the names of the countries where rice was exported during the last three years indicating the rates thereof; and

(b)the Statewise financial assistance provided to the exporters of rice during the above period particularly in Jharkhand?

(a):The names of the Countries where rice was exported from the Central Pool during the last three Years and the effective export prices of rice since 2001-2002 to 2003-2004 are at Annexure I & II respectively.

(b):No financial assistance to exporters is provided Statewise.Only certain WTO Compatible expenses are reimbursed to the exporters.Foodgrains subsidy released to Food Corporation of India during the last three years is at Annexure-III.

No rice was released from Jharkhand region for export.
