(a) whether the Government have any proposal to construct a building for Central Research Institute (Homoeopathy) at Kottayam in Kerala;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether officials/team visited the place since the inception of Institute;
(d) if so, the details thereof;
(e) whether any research work is going on there; and
(f) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b) The Institute is housed in a building of Government of Kerala. No final decision has been taken about the construction of a new building.
(c) & (d) Details of the visits of the officials to the Institute from its inception are not available. However, during the last five years the Director of the Council visited the Institute three times and a meeting of Scientific Advisory Committee of the Council was also held there. In addition to this, officials from the Ministry also visited the Institute twice.
(e) & (f) The Institute is carrying out Research studies in behavioural disorders, epilepsy and osteo arthritis. So far 5333 cases of behavioural disorders, 581 cases of epilepsy and 254 cases of osteo arthritis have been studied.
