Question : GRIEVANCE CELL IN DELHI POLICE



(a) whether Public Grievance Redressal Cells have been set up in the districts and units of the Delhi Police;

(b) if so, the details thereof along with the functions of the said cells; and

(c) the total number of complaints filed in the said cells along with the number of police officers/ personnel against whom action has been taken on the basis of these complaints during each of the last three years and the current year, district and unit-wise?

(a) to (b): Public Grievance Cells (P.G. Cells) are functioning in all 11 Districts and in Special Police Unit for Women and Children, Police Control Room and Traffic/ Railways/Metro/Crime Units of Delhi Police as per Standing Order No. 102/2009.

(c): District and unit-wise details of number of complaints filed in the Public Grievance Cells along with the number of police officers/personnel against whom action has been taken on the basis of these complaints during each of the last three years and the current year are at Annexure.
