(a) whether the Government are aware that a large number of beauty parlours and massage parlours involved in immoral practices are flourising in Delhi;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the details of the raids conducted by Delhi Police in this regard during last two years; and
(d) findings thereof and the steps taken by the Government to check the same?

(a) & (b): No, Sir. The number of beauty/massage parlours found involved in immoral practices was insignificant in comparison to the number of such parlours functioning in Delhi.
(c) & (d): Last year and upto 15th July this year, Delhi Police registered cases against five beauty parlours and arrested thirty-eight persons in connection with these cases. The local police has been sensitized to keep their utmost vigil in their respective areas over any such immoral activities.
