(a) whether the Government allocate resources or have special schemes to train the Forest and Revenue Department in each State on implementation of Forest Rights Act, 2006;
(b) if so, the details of such schemes, dates on which they were instituted and working of such schemes as of 2020;
(c) the details of the amount allocated by the Government for training of authorities responsible for implementation of FRA for the years 2018-19, 2019-20, State-wise?
(a& b) : Ministry of Tribal Affairs provides financial assistance to State Governments under the scheme “Support to Tribal Research Institutes” since 2017-18, wherein funds are given to TRIs for various activities related to research, programs for preservation of tribal cultural heritage, and training and capacity building programs on various issues including implementation of Forest Rights Act. Earlier this scheme was known as ''Research and Training’ being implemented since first five year plan.
(c): Details of training programs / workshops on FRA 2006 approved under the TRI scheme during 2018-19 and 2019-20, State-wise is at Annexure-I.
