(a) & (b) : As per the first ''Comprehensive National Survey on Extent and Pattern of Substance Use in India'' conducted during 2018, the details of drug abuse among children and women is as under

(c): The gender-wise and age-wise break-up of the persons arrested under The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances Act, 1985 (NDPS) is not maintained centrally. However, the number of cases related to drug abuse filed in the last three years is as below:

2019 : 74,620
2020* : 67,214

(d) & (e) : There are a total of 364 De-addiction centres (IRCAs) running across the Country. The number of the de-addiction centres functioning across the Country and the details of financial assistance provided to these centres during last three years and the current year, State-wise including the State of Jharkhand is placed at Annexure-I.
