Question : Funds For Madhya Pradesh under Jal Jeevan Mission

(a) the details of the funds allocated, sanctioned, utilized in Madhya Pradesh under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the financial year 2021-2022;
(b) the details of the present status of tap water supply in rural areas of Madhya Pradesh including Bhind district, district-wise;
(c) the total number of households provided with tap water connection since the launch of the mission till date in Madhya Pradesh including Bhind district; district-wise; and
(d) the number of schools and anganwadi centres having access to piped water supply in Madhya Pradesh including Bhind district, district-wise?

(b) to (d) In Madhya Pradesh, since launch of Jal Jeevan Mission, more than 30.53 lakh rural households (25%) have been provided tap water connections. Thus, as on 29.11.2021, provisions of tap water supply have been made available to 44.06 lakh (36%) rural households in the State. Further, as on 29.11.2021, in 66,938 (72%) schools and 39,370 (59%) anganwadi centres, provision of tap water supply has been made in the State. The details are annexed.
