Question : Construction of NH-333A

(a) whether the Government is aware that the construction work of the National Highway-333A between the Bharbhaga and Panjwara is being done at a very slow speed due to which the said NH will not get completed in the prescribed time limit and if so, the details thereof;

(b) the reaction of the Government thereto;

(c) whether many accidents have taken place due to several potholes on the said NH; and

(d) if so, the details thereof and the measures taken by the Government to fill up these potholes expeditiously?

(a) to (b) No, Sir. Construction work of widening and strengthening from km 179.00 to 198.93 of National Highway – 333A is going on and likely to be completed by November, 2019 within time.

(c) & (d) No, Sir. However, Road Construction Department, Government of Bihar is doing potholes filling to make the road in traffic worthy condition.
