(a) whether the National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC) is implementing a scheme for women self-help groups in urban and rural areas namely `Manila Samridhi Yojana` through Slate Channelising Agencies (SCA);

(b) if so, the details thereof; and

(c) the total number of wo men/women self- help groups benefited under this scheme during each of the last three years and the current year along with the amount granted to them. State/district-wise?

(a) to (c): The `National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC) functioning under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, implements the scheme of `Manila Samriddhi Yojana` with an objective to provide Micro-finance to women entrepreneurs belonging to Backward Classes notified by Central / State Governments from time to time, having annual family income of Rs. 1.03,000/- in urban areas and Rs. 81,000/- in rural areas. Maximum loan of Rs. 50,000/-per beneficiary is provided under the scheme at the interest rate of 4% per annum. The scheme is implemented through State Channelising Agencies (SCA) either directly or through Self Help Groups. The State-wise number of women benefltted and amount released by NBCFDC under this scheme during last three years and current year is at Annexure. NBCFDC does not maintain district-wise details of benefited women/women self help groups.
