(a) to (c): The information is being collected and will be laid on

The admitted question of the Unstarred Question No.
7149 which is due for reply on 14.5.2002 in the Lok Sabha reads
as under:-
(a)the number of officials of his Ministry as well as the
Undertakings thereunder which sought voluntary retirement
during each of the last two years, category-wise/post-wise;
(b)the benefits given to such officials, and;
(c)the number of applications pending for approval as on date?
2. The concerned Divisions and Department of
Fertilizers were requested to furnish the requisite information.
3. The requisite information in respect of Chemical and
PC Divisions has not been received so far.
4. As per the information received from Department of
Fertilizers, the information is being collected from PSUs. So far
as Department of Fertilizers is concerned, only one employee
took VRS during last two years. She has been given all
retirement benefits as per Government orders/guidelines.
5. In view of the reply given by Department of
Fertilizers, if agreed, we may give assurance.
