(a) whether the Government has received any requests for allowing prayers in various historical mosques in the country;

(b) if so, the details thereof, mosque-wise;

(c) the following up action being taken by the Government in this regard?

(a) to (c) Yes, Sir. Archaeological Survey of India had received a few requests for allowing prayer at centrally protected monuments in the country. The details of which are as under:

The above referred requests were examined according to the provisions of Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act and Rules thereunder.
