(a) whether both the release and utilization of funds for Anganwadis have come down from 74,671 and 65,280 lakhs respectively in 2019-20 to 75,438 and 63,229 lakhs in 2020-21;
(b) if so, the reasons therefor;
(c) the details of funds approved, released and utilized during 2021-22 till December, 2021;
(d) whether there are demands to setting up of new Anganwadi centres in the country, including Andhra Pradesh; and
(e) if so, the steps taken by the Ministry thereon?

(d) & (e) From time to time, the Ministry receives requests from State Governments/UT Administrations for sanction of new Anganwadi Centres. However, all the Anganwadi Centres approved for sanction by the Government of India have been already sanctioned to all States/UTs including Andhra Pradesh.
