(a) whether India`s share in the total global export of herbal medicines is very low;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the reasons therefor;
(c) the details of the total export of herbal medicines during each of the last three years and the current year,
country-wise and value-wise; and
(d) the details of the measures taken/being taken by the Government to boost the export of herbal medicines and
to increase India`s share in the global export of herbal medicines?

(a) & (b): Main official source to analyze the global pharmaceutical exports trends is UN Comtrade which does not give information
separately on herbal medicines. As such, no comments can be given on India’s share in the total global exports of herbal medicines.
