(a) the total number of employees and officers who applied for Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) offered by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) as on date, State/UT-wise; and
(b) the category-wise details of the total employees who will be repatriated to the Department of Telecommunication under employee separation scheme of the BSNL?

(a) Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has informed that as on 26.11.2019, 79101 employees have applied for voluntary retirement under Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) of BSNL. The scheme is open till 03.12.2019 and the exact number of officers/employees opting for voluntary retirement will be known only thereafter. Circle-wise details of employees who have applied for voluntary retirement is at Annexure.
(b) No employee separation scheme is introduced by BSNL for repatriation of its employees to the Department of Telecommunications.
