IN THE LOK SABHA ON 24.11.2005 REGARDING RAILWAY PROJECTS IN M. P.
(a) to (c): The project-wise progress along with the target dates
of completion, wherever fixed and budget allocation during 2005–06
for various ongoing New Line, Gauge Conversion and Doubling
projects in Madhya Pradesh are as given under:-

New Line 1. Guna–Etawah 423.00 25.00 Guna–Bhind (308 Kms) via completed and commissioned. Shivpuri–Gwa 77% progress in earthwork, lior–Bhind bridgeworks and ballast (348.25 Kms) supply in progress on Bhind–Etawa (36 Kms).
2. Lalitpur–Sat 925.00 25.00 Work being taken up in na, phases. Final Location Rewa–Singrau Survey for li & Lalitpur–Khajuraho (167.5 Mahoba–Khaju Kms) & Mahoba–Khajuraho (65 raho Kms) completed. FLS for (541 Kms) Khajuraho–Satna (116 Kms) & Rewa–Singrauli (191.6 Kms) is in progress. Earthwork & bridgeworks taken up in the entire length, where land has been made available.
3. Godhra–Indor 946.16 15.00 Dewas–Maksi (36 Kms) e via Dahod, completed and commissioned. Sardarpur, Dhar & Dewas–Maksi (316 Kms)
4. Ramganj 726.05 15.00 In Ramganj Mandi–Jhalawar Mandi–Bhopal 10.88 hectare land (262 Kms) acquired. Tenders processed for earthwork & minor bridges for initial 27 kms., i.e. from Ramganj Mandi to Jhalawar.
Gauge Conversion 5. Jabalpur–Gon 511.86 25.00 Gondia–Balaghat section dia incl. completed and commissioned. Balaghat–Kat On Jabalpur–Balaghat angi section land acquisition (285 Kms) taken up. Earthwork and bridgeworks taken up on Gwarighat–Kachhepura stretch and Balaghat–Katangi sections. Over all progress 17.4%.
6. Neemuch–Ratl 167.51 20.00 Earthwork & bridgeworks and am ballasting taken up. Over (135.38 Kms) all physical progress 90%.
Doublings 7 Akodia- 31.36 12.12 Yard Plan for 3 stations Sujalpur and all ‘L’ section drawing approved. Tenders for earthwork, minor bridges and ballast supply invited. 8. Kalapipal- 97.64 25.00 During the current Phanda/Maksi- financial year, two block Bhopal sections i.e. Sehore- Panchawan and Panchawan- Phanda targeted for completion. Overall progress 36%.
