(c) Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), under its Scheme for setting up of Distributed Grid-connected Solar PV Power Projects in Andaman & Nicobar & Lakshadweep Islands with Capital Subsidy from MNRE, has supported following two projects:
i. A project with 20 MW solar PV and 8 MWh battery energy storage system by NLC India Limited in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
ii. A project with aggregate capacity of 1.95 MW solar PV and 2.15 MWh battery energy storage system by Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) in Lakshadweep Islands.
