(a) whether five projects have been identified in Gujarat under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme to be completed in the coming three years;
(b) if so, the details of each of the five projects so identified; and
(c) the details of irrigation potential, flow of funds, share of State and the Union Government and the present status of each of the above projects?

(a) to (c) There is only one ongoing project from Gujarat namely, Sardar Sarovar Multipurpose project under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) - Accelerated Irrigation Benefits Programme (AIBP). This project has been prioritised during 2016-17 for completion by December 2019. Funding mechanism through NABARD has also been approved by the Government for both Central and State share.
The estimated balance cost of AIBP works as on March, 2016 is Rs.9873.26 crore [Central Assistance (CA) component Rs.4791.51 crore]. During 2016-19, CA of Rs.3419.654 crore and State share of Rs.2713.270 crore have been released for AIBP component of this project through NABARD.
The Ultimate Irrigation Potential of Sardar Sarovar is 17.92 L.Ha. out of which irrigation potential of 11.11 L.Ha. was created up to March, 2016. Further, during 2016-19, an additional irrigation potential of 5.27 L.Ha. has been reported to be created.
