(a) the number of students belonging to minority communities to whom scholarship was provided in Madhya Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir during each of the last three years and the current year; and
(b) the details of the scholarship provided for pre-matric, post matric and higher education?

(a) to (b): For the educational empowerment of minority students all over the country, the Ministry of Minority Affairs implements three scholarship schemes namely, Pre-matric Scholarship Scheme Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme and Merit-cum-means (MCM) based Scholarship Schemes. The numbers of scholarships are distributed amongst the States/Union Territories and six Centrally notified minority communities, based on the proportion of the population of each of the minority communities. Accordingly, the details of scholarship provided in Madhya Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir during the years 2015-16 to 2017-18 is as under:
