(a) the quantum of funds released by the Government for solar schemes to the State of Chhattisgarh;
(b) whether the funds are released year-wise or as per the plan;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) whether additional funds have been demanded by the State for the said purpose?

(a) to (d)During the year 2019-20 an amount of Rs. 2.67 Cr was released to the State of Chhattisgarh for implementation of rooftop solar projects under Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar Programme Phase-I. No funds have been released to the State so far during the current year.
Funds under various schemes of Ministry are released to the State as per the provisions of the relevant schemes, capacities sanctioned and achievement reported by the State.
Based on the demand received from the State of Chhattisgarh, 5 MW capacity has been sanctioned under Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar Programme Phase-II during 2019-20. Also based on the demand received from the State, 30 MW of grid-connected solar capacity has been sanctioned under Component-A and 20,000 standalone solar pumps have been sanctioned under Component-B of the PM-KUSUM Scheme during 2020-21.
