(a) the current status of the sanctioned infrastructure project of KV I Kozhikode;
(b) the present status of KV III at Ulliyeri in Kozhikode; and
(c) whether the proposed KVS-III is likely to begin the academic session of 21-22 and if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has informed that the Administrative Approval and Expenditure Sanction (AA&ES) for replacement of part building (secondary block) of Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) No. I Kozhikode has been issued in September, 2020 to Central Public Works Department.
(b) A proposal for opening of new KV at Ulliyeri, Kozhikode has been received by the KVS from the State Government of Kerala and found fulfilling mandatory pre-requisites. As per the norms of KVS, the proposal has to compete with other such proposals under the “Challenge Method”.
(c) In view of the reply to part (b) above, no time frame can be given.
