(a) the number of operational Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) in the country during each of the last three years, State-wise;
(b) the number of persons served by these Kendras during the same period, State/UT-wise;
(c) the steps taken/proposed to be taken by the Government to open more PSKs in the country, particularly in Maharashtra; and
(d) the details of locations identified for opening of PSKs in Kerala?

(a) & (b) The number of operational Passport Seva Kendras (PSK) and Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSK) in the country during 2016, 2017, 2018 and upto 31 May, 2019 is at Annexure-I. The number of passport and passport related applications received in the corresponding years is at Annexure-II.
(c) & (d) As on 31 May, 2019, 505 Passport Seva Kendras are operational in the country. The list is at Annexure-III. It includes 43 in Maharashtra and 19 in Kerala. Six more POPSK are to be opened in Maharashtra at Alibagh, Bhiwandi, Dombivali, Mumbai North Central, Nandurbar and Panvel in near future. In respect of Kerala, all the PSK have been made operational. The opening of Passport Seva Kendras (PSK) in the country, including in Maharashtra and Kerala, is an on-going activity and depends on various factors, including distance from the existing Passport Seva Kendras.
