(a) whether any survey /study has indicated that the Bus Rapid Transit
(BRT) Corridor in Rajasthan has been beneficial for the commuters;
(b) if so, the details thereof ; and
(c) the steps taken by the Government to implement such scheme
in the country?

(a) & (b): No such survey/study has been conducted by the Ministry of
Urban Development, Government of India.
(c): Based on the proposals received from the State Governments as well as
availability of resources, the Central Govt. has so far sanctioned projects
for Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) in ten Mission cities under Jawaharlal Nehru
National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM).
