(a) and (b) From the financial assistance provided by the World Bank and other
International Institutions, Assam is implementing one project, viz. `Assam Rural
Infrastructure1. Apart from implementing this project, Assam is aiso one of the participating
States in the multi-State project, viz. `Technical Education-II. The details of these
projects are given in the enclosed Statement. Assam, like other States, is also benefited
by a number of Central sector externally aided projects.
