(a) whether a request has been received from the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the introduction of air links from Hyderabad to Kuwait, Jeddah and Kualalumpur;
(b) if so, the reaction of the Government thereon; and
(c) the time by which these flights are likely to be introduced?

(a), (b) and (c): Request has been received from the
Government of Andhra Pradesh to provide air connections
between Hyderabad and Kuwait, Jeddah and Kuala Lumpur. Of
these, services to Kuwait have since been started by Indian
Airlines. The other destinations have not yet been
connected due to inadequate traffic potential and/or
shortage of aircraft capacity. Air India, however, operates
three common leg flights from Hyderabad to Jeddah over
Mumbai with convenient connection.
