(a) whether the railways and Public Sector Undertakings under it have
evinced interest in the saline land in the county;
(b)if so, whether saline land can be effectively used for the expansion,
development of railways and shifting of slums; and
(c)if so, the steps taken/proposed to be taken by the Railways for acquiring the said land alongwith the up to date status of the study conducted in this regard?
