(a) the total expenditure incurred on Modernisation of Police Force during the current Plan period, State and year-wise;
(b) whether the Government has similar plans for incurring expenditure on modernisation of general administration and Government delivery systems for obtaining efficiency in outcomes;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) the other measures taken by the Government for modernisation of Police Force in the country?

(a): The details of funds released for Modernisation of Police Force during the current Plan period, State and year-wise are given in the Annexure.
(b) & (c): Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances has intimated that they deal with modernisation of Ministries / Departments / Attached and Sub-ordinate offices located at Delhi.
(d): So far as other measures are concerned, Rs. 783.67 crore and Rs. 349.25 crores have been released by the Central Government to States during 2012-13 and 2013-14 respectively for Police Training. Further, under Special Infrastructure Scheme Rs. 74.13 crore and Rs. 48.00 crore have been released to Left Wing Extremism Affected States during 2013-14 and 2014-15 respectively.
