(a) & (b) : All India Council for Technical Education
(AICTE) has been allotted 5 acres of land in Jawaharlal Nehru
University (JNU) campus, New Delhi for the construction of
its Headquarter building, which includes office building,
mini Convention Centre and Auditorium. The estimated cost of
the project is approx. Rs.40 crores. In view of the urgent
need of the AICTE, the Defence Research and Development
Organisation (DRDO) has been requested to complete the
construction work through its Civil Engineering Construction
Wing in the shortest possible time.
It has also been approved to open two camp offices of
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) at Guwahati
and Gurgaon.
