Question : Data on Vaccines to Private Hospitals

(a) whether the Government has maintained the data of vaccines Covishield, Covaxin and Sputnik V procured by the private hospitals till now;
(b) if so, the details of the above mentioned three vaccines procured by the private hospitals State/UT-wise till date;
(c) the details of the number of doses of Covishield, Covaxin and Sputnik V wasted from 16 January 2021 to 31 October 2021, State/UT/vaccine-wise and the reasons for wastage; and
(d) the details of the amount of money spent on procuring Covid 19 Vaccines, Covishield, Covaxin and Sputnik V by the Government so far?

(a) & (b) State/UT-wise details of Covishield and Covaxin procured by private hospitals till 15th December 2021 is at Annexure-1 and as on 15th December 2021, Sputnik V procured by Private hospitals as per CoWIN portal is 10,72,292 vaccine doses.
(c) Instances of vaccine wastage as well as extra doses extracted from a given vial are reported on Co-Win portal which are taken into account to arrive at vaccine wastage figures for a State. State/UT-wise details of vaccine wastage in Government Covid Vaccination Centers (CVCs) as reported on CoWIN portal, as on 15th December 2021 is at Annexure-2.
(d) As on 09th December 2021, an expenditure of INR 19,675.46 crore has been incurred for procurement of COVID-19 vaccines by Government of India for free of cost supplies of vaccine doses to State/UTs.
