Question : POST BASED ROSTER

(a) whether the DOPT has introduced `Post Based Roster` in place on `Vacancy Based Rosters` for implementing reservation system w.e.f. July 2, 1997;

(b) if so, reasons therefor;

(c) indicate excesses/shortages found in Class 1, II,III and IV category of services under his Ministry and all the Autonomous/Statutory Organisations, Attached/Subordinate Offices and Public Sector Undertaking as on July 2, 1997; and

(d) remedical measures being taken in this regard?
