(a)&(b): There already exists a mechanism in each and every Government Department and Institution to check corruption. The suggestions given by the Central Vigilance Commissioner in this regard from time to time are also taken into account in strengthening and improving the system. The Secretary of each of the Government Ministry/Department assisted by Chief Vigilance Officer is primarily responsible to ensure probity and integrity in the concerned Department.
