(a) whether the Government has carried out any study about the reason for the delay in the construction of offshore container terminal;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) the extent of delay in the completion of this project; and
(d) the time by which the said project is likely to be completed?

(a): No, Madam. The Government has not carried out any study about the reasons for the delay
in the construction of offshore container terminal in Mumbai Port.
(b): Does not arise.
(c): Project is likely to be commissioned after a delay of 21 months.
(d): Project is likely to be completed by September, 2012.
