THE MINISTER OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE(SHRI GULAM NABI AZAD)

(a) to (d): Health being a State subject, such information in respect of various States is not maintained centrally. The Central Government only supplements the efforts of State Governments under programmes like the National Rural Health Mission.

In so far as the Central Government hospitals namely Safdarjung Hospital, Dr. RML Hospital and Lady Hardinge Medical College & Associated hospitals in Delhi are concerned, best efforts are made to provide quality health care facility to the patients. The available medicines in these hospitals are provided free of costs to patients including patients living below poverty line.
