(a) whether the prices of chemical fertilizers have decreased during the current year as compared to the last year;
(b) if so, the details of the percentage decrease registered in this regard;
(c) whether as a result of this, farmers would get chemical fertilizers at relatively low rates; and
(d) if so, the percentage of decrease in prices of chemical fertilizers likely to be made in the interest of farmers?

(a) & (b): Yes madam, prices of DAP, MOP and Complex fertilizers have decreased during 2017-18 as compared to 2016-17 by 4.06%, 7.05% and 1.77% respectively. MRP of Urea is same for both the year.
(c) & (d): Farmers are getting DAP, MOP and Complex fertilizers at reduced rates by 4.06%, 7.05% and 1.77% respectively while they are getting Urea at same rate during the 2017-18 as compared to 2016-17.
