TOURISM PROJECTS
(a): Yes, Sir.
(b), (c) & (d): The Ministry of Tourism provides funds to the State Governments/UTs for the
projects which are prioritized in consultation with them every year for various schemes.
The number of projects sanctioned and amount released during the last years and the
current year are at Annexure-I and II respectively.
(e): The tourism projects sanctioned by the Ministry of Tourism are implemented by the State
Governments and their implementing agencies. The projects are generally completed within a
maximum period of 36 months.
