Question : GEETHAKRISHNAN COMMITTEE REPORT

(a) the details of recommendations of Geethakrishnan Committee report accepted by the Government on reorganisation of various wings of her Ministry and the action taken so far or proposed to be taken by Government thereon;

(b) the details of recommendations, which have not been accepted by the Government alongwith the reasons in each case; and

(c) how far this has affected the efficiency of the various wings of her Ministry?

(a) to (c) : The Report of Geethakrishnan Committee, pertaining to Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, has been considered in this Ministry. However, no final decision has been taken in the matter.
