BRIDGES
a) Rebuilding of bridges on consideration of end of life is
not decided merely on basis of age but on age cum physical
condition basis and technical considerations.
(b) As on 01.04.2001, there are 515 `distressed` bridges in
the country. Railway-wise list is as under:-
