Question : NANDED RAILWAY DIVISION

(a) whether it is a fact that irregularities were observed in the gauge conversion work carried out under Nanded Railway Division;

(b) if so, action taken by the Railways in this regard;

(c) whether construction of railway under-bridge on Islapur-Jaldara and Islapur-Cosmate Railway line is of sub-standard and the said construction has been damaged completely; and

(d) if so, the action taken by Railways against guilty?

(a) Yes, Sir.

(b) Investigation in one case has been completed and the case has been referred to the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) for advice. Two more cases are under investigation.

(c)&(d) The matter is under investigation.
